Pringle Creek parents are invited to a Family Math/Games Night on

Wednesday, January 25, 2012  

Explore the wonders of math with your children. Let them show you what they are learning. A variety of math centers will be hosted by teachers offering an assortment of games and activities. Special math activiities and ideas that can be used at home will also be available.

Come to an evening of family fun and learn through our parent and school partnership!

Pringle Creek P.S. is taking part in the DDSB Winter Clothing Drive and Awareness Campaign for Northern First Nation Communities. This board-wide Social Action Project invites staff, students and families at participating schools to learn about circumstances and living conditions in many northern First Nation communities, and to donate new or gently-used, clean winter outerwear and small fleece blankets. Donations may be made from January 23 – February 3, 2012. The items being accepted are winter coats, jackets, snow pants, boots, hats, scarves, mitts and small fleece blankets. Donations can be brought to your child's classroom where they will be collected and taken to a central location and prepared for delivery.

Are you considering enrolling your grade one child into the French Immersion Program? The French Immersion Parents' Information Night, will take place at Julie Payette P.S. at 7 p.m. on February 1st. A second information night will be held at the board office at 7 p.m. on April 26th for any parents unable to attend in February. Please see the attached poster for more information:

The ski/snowboard club will be going to Ski Lakeridge starting Tuesday, January 10th. Please make sure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather. Students will be leaving the school at 3:15pm and returning to the school at 8:30pm. Any questions can be directed to Mrs. Northey.
